Are things suddenly going all wrong? You may amidst a Mercury Retrograde.

I do not usually follow astrology, however, recent events have made me sit up & look up what was going on.  So, we had booked a trip to Brisbane via a friend who works at a common domestic flights within Australia.  We had stand by tickets, i.e quarter of the cost but no guaranteed seats. The friend booked a day that looked most promising.

What could go wrong? Just turn up on the day. She had already checked that there were plenty of spare seats left for that time.

However, the evening before the flight, my son came and sat on my lap and said that he’s scared of the the flight.  This was highly unusual, he had never said anything like that before. 

Next morning of the flight, I received a call from my friend to notify us that the flight was canceled due to operational cause! My son instincts / intuition was bang on correct and was right to feel scared. I went and cuddled up with him as he was waking up. I mentioned to him what had just occured. I re-assured him to to always trust his gut and heart no matter what others say.  Children are always more strongly connected to the Divine than adults. However, as they get older and programmed by our society, children slowly lose touch with their sixth sense. I was amazed that my 12 year old still had that spark within him.  I asked him to implement a few practices to further enhance his sense. We are are born with deep connection with our soul and the Divine.  However, the society we live in is all material based and here in the physical realms only, we lose connection with our soul and the Divine.  

Any way I got side tracked there, back to story. We eventually managed to get on a flight later that day. 

After spending a few days in Brisbane, On the way back, again our flights got cancelled again! Not only that, few later ones got cancelled too! Our friends had to collect us from the airport.

Any how, we eventually got a flight back home.  Only then did I come across a mercury retrograde post.  Guess what the first day of the retrograde was- the day of our flight out and will be lasting for 3 weeks!

Moral of the story - always check for mercury retrogrades before booking trips.  Same goes for carrying anything major such as signing contracts, or starting a new business. 

As Mercury is a Roman messenger god, double check emails and messages before sending them. If mass producing pamplets or flyers - I would resist sending them to print as mis-prints are highly likely to happen during this time!

As for the next one, its starts 13th December 2023 and last until 1st January 2024.  Please double check everything during this years festive seasons before travelling and allow extra, extra time so not to dampen your festive spirits. 🤞 Good luck!
